Question, are your corrective shapes based off of separate blend shapes of the head for the expression (if so, how) or are your corrective shapes based off of bone rotation for minor skin deformation tweaks? Can you have corrective shapes (connected with blend shapes) after duplicating the head for blend shapes? Hope that wasn't too confusing...

May 24, 2010 - @eric86wong Yep, so... when you activate a blendshape "A" and a blenshape "B" in the same time, it could have some vertex collisions (ugly looking shapes). a "Fix blendshape" will be a special blendshape which will correct this collision beetween "A" and "B". It will be activated only when "A" and "B" are activated in the same time. You'll need to create a "fix blendshape" for all the collisions

May 24, 2010 - @cpsstudios Each blend shape is a separate head. Same for the corrective blend shapes. Each time you need to correct a vertex collision between 2 blend shapes, you will need to duplicate a new head to create your corrective blend shape.

I got fed up and actually rigged my GUI with joints to get the same effect you're getting. Are you using cluster weights on the curves and parenting them to the controls?
